As manager for Is Burning, I also executed project management for a live stream event with music and video platform Boiler Room.

I managed the popular gay event Is Burning from 2017 to 2021, where I spearheaded new business development and maintained strong relationships with stakeholders. In collaboration with Carlos Valdes, I provided strategic guidance on strategy, production, and marketing. Our successful hostings at venues like Elementenstraat, De Marktkantine (during Pride weekend with Dekmantel), WAS, Bar, Pip, and Radio Radio were part of my remit, which also included budgeting, deal-making, and contracting.

Is Burning, hosted by Carlos Valdes, traces its roots back to Trouw Amsterdam. It's an event inspired by the old-school LGBT club culture, with a deep love for underground house music that spans Disco, Chicago House, and Techno. Is Burning is a desire to be absolutely free, to shine and to be who you want to be.
